Newschain is an initiative of Jolien van de Griendt and Pepijn Nagtzaam. They have both been working as journalists for years and have had a clear focus on online storytelling and innovation. In january 2017 they used a grant from the Dutch Fund for Journalism to start the development of Newschain: a storytelling tool for news companies that can be used to present information in foldable blocks.
We are developing this new way of storytelling because we believe that it is essential to present information in journalistic stories in a clear and powerful way. We also think that we as journalists can do a better job in building stories that readers want to read. Newschain helps with that quest.
